Slewing Gear Drive Description
Enclosed solar tracking Slewing Drive have many types such as enclosed type, open housing type, vertical type, dual axis type, high precision type, worm drive type etc. Slewing drive is based on the double enveloping worm gear structure, which featured multi tooth contact designed specially for driving high load. It have strong tilting moment torque and static self-locking function.
The planetary gear reduction gearbox's working principle makes itself to bear a big radial load due to the proportionate distribution of torque. What's more, our slewing drives can attach to different kinds of motors, hydraulic motor, 24vdc/12vdc electric motor, servo motor, stepper motor and we have all series slew gearbox size meet customers' different need and demand.

Installation Precautions
The slewing bearing carries most of the additional force generated by the rotating construction of mechanical components, and factors such as large load pressure and harsh working environment have put forward higher requirements for its performance. In order to ensure the smooth progress of construction activities, it is very important to choose high-quality slewing bearing products, and the details of its installation and use cannot be relaxed.
1. Confirm the quality. Before the slewing bearing is installed, a careful visual inspection should be done to confirm that the slewing bearing has not been greatly damaged during transportation, such as severe corrosion and deformation.
2. Clean up impurities. When there are foreign objects such as sand particles and iron filings inside the slewing bearing, it will cause wear to the adjacent components during the operation of the machine, aperiodic vibration will occur, and there will also be inflexible rotation failures. Shorten mechanical life.
3. Ensure precision. After the parts are installed, it is necessary to check the contact between the slewing bearing plane and the installation plane. If there is a gap, the material that can fill the gap should be used to fill the gap to prevent the slewing bearing from being deformed after the bolt is tightened.
