Worm Gear Dual Axis Slew Drive Description
The principle of solar thermal power generation is to collect sunlight into a solar collector device through a mirror, use the solar energy to heat the heat transfer medium (liquid or gas) in the collector device, and then heat the water to form steam, which drives or directly drives a generator to generate electricity. In general, solar thermal power generation has the following four types: trough, tower, dish (disc), and Fresnel.
Trough
The trough type solar thermal power generation system is called a trough parabolic mirror solar thermal power generation system. The trough type parabolic concentrating collectors are arranged in series and parallel, heating the working medium, generating superheated steam, and driving the steam turbine generator set to generate electricity.
Tower
In 1973, the outbreak of the worldwide oil crisis stimulated the research and development of solar technology. Compared with solar cells, the price is high and the efficiency is low. The efficiency of solar thermal power generation is relatively high and the technology is relatively mature.
Dish
The disc type (also known as dish) solar thermal power generation system is the world's first solar power system. It is composed of a parabolic mirror composed of many mirrors. It receives the focus of the paraboloid and the heat transfer medium in the receiver is heated. Drive the engine to generate electricity at around 750℃.
Fresnel
The working principle is similar to trough type photothermal power generation, except that the Fresnel structure condenser is used instead of the mirror. This makes it relatively inexpensive, but the efficiency is correspondingly reduced.
Because such a system has only a few times of concentrating, the quality of the heated water vapor is not high, so that the annual power generation efficiency of the whole system can only reach about 10%; but due to the simple structure of the system and the direct use of heat-transfering medium to generate steam, Its construction and maintenance costs are also relatively low.
